    • A zero waste lifestyle is something I’m becoming passionate about since I’ve started teaching more about conservation and endangered species. Thank you for encouraging and giving us all, but important ways to waste less and to take care of our planet.

  1. Great post! We all need to work towards reducing waste and spending mindfully. Thanks for the inspiration and good luck with the challenge!

  2. Also I’d love to get my hands on that dental care set. I would enter the give away but I live halfway across the world in Kenya and shipping would be insanely costly. Or is that still okay?

    • Yes, it’s still okay. As long as you provide your address, you will receive the prize should you win any in this giveaway.

  3. I find that if using non electric water filter, that all you add is from the yap, you get clean water and save on plastic bottles or the plastic holder to carry all of them into.

  4. I love the zero waste movement and want to do my part. I still have a tiny bit of hope that the planet can be saved.

    • Hope you like to read the rest of my articles. Share this to all who needs awareness on sustainable living and environmental issues!

    • We all should. Given that the bottled water industry is built upon abuse and environmental degradation by companies such as Nestle.

  5. I made a lot of changes in 2019 to be mindful of my waste, particularly plastics. I no longer use single use razors, plastic toothbrushes, and shopping bags. I’ve also changed to cleaner products including sulphate free and green cleaning products. I enjoy reading blogs like this to find out about other products to continue in my clean clean journey.

  6. Zero waste is hard but making changes toward zero waste is easy. I adore shampoo/conditioner bars. Shopping the bulk bins in the store is also cheaper.

  7. We live in a green building so we have been trying to be mindful about our consumption for years. Small, but continuous changes become second nature.

  8. One of my New Years resolutions is to cut down on waste more . I’ve switched many things but still have a ways to go . I really want to try the shampoo bars .

    • Try reading our post on New Year’s resolutions for a sustainable 2020. You can find more ideas there on living more sustainably this year!

  9. There are so many great reasons to live a zero waste lifestyle. However, as a working mom, I am challenging myself to life that lifestyle. It isn’t easy, but with planning ahead and not being rushed to make school lunches, I can achieve a zero waste lunch for my kids. Small steps are what we need to achieve the ultimate goal.

  10. So many things we don’t think of in the bathroom. Nice to see these. I do the straws, carry folding utensil in case there is plastic, try to buy as little packaging as possible.

  11. i have little experience with buying zero waste products but it is something I think is a good idea and I want to start purchasing.

  12. I believe in conserving water..i never let water just run..even trying to heat it up..i make sure to use it while getting hot

  13. Haven’t really heard much about Zero Waster here in the US, but I am sure it is going to gain more popularity in the near future seeing how more and more young people & you adults are becoming more environmentally aware.
